Headwaters MB advised Defense Group, Inc. (“DGI”) on its divestiture of COBRA, a leading incident management and decision support system used by the Department of Defense and civilian first responders, to Dynamis.

Founded in 1998, COBRA was founded as a decision support system that could be used in response to CBRNE, WMD, and Hazmat emergencies seen both by military and civilian First Responders. Since then, COBRA has grown into a multi=platform, enterprise level solution, built to address all hazards and all stages of emergency management, and all levels of emergency response organizations.

“Joining the Dynamis family presents myriad new opportunities for the company and for our customers,” said Brad Gardner, former ESMS vice president who now leads Dynamis’ IT division. “Dynamis is now in position to reach a broader set of customers in new markets and enhance its technology offerings in its existing relationships.”
